I put this album together by sprucing up my favorite demos while also working on THE OTHER RIGHT PLACE by the Assemblers. Background on the tracks:Street: Fanfare--a solo improv on the Ensoniq KT-76 using the 8 voices of the Gamelan Orchestra (courtesy of an "ethnic sounds" card).Roly Poly--this is partly about the immediate delight of playing with my first synthesizer (Roland Juno) and drum machine (Roland TR-505) ca. 1992. It was a composition for the A-1 setting on the drum machine and the P-1 setting on the Juno. Both machines were dug out of retirement to recapture the magic.
