Moon's Rock album
$14.55 The "king of the hillbilly piano players" shows up at his best on these 24 tracks, cut during his prime years, 1946 through 1954, when he was associated principally with King Records. It's easy to hear the roots of Jerry Lee Lewis's (as well as elements of Carl Perkins') sound in early cuts like "Cherokee Boogie", on which Moon Mullican and his band find room for a rippling, pounding performance on piano as well as a short, hot guitar solo around a jaunty, funny honky tonk core, and most of the rest of what's ...

$13.35 Tiger TigerAmerican Indian Rock n' Roll Bandwww.TigerTigerMusic.comTiger Tiger (Lee & Stephen Tiger) is not an ordinary American rock n' roll band! Inspired by the nature of the Florida everglades, their American Indian culture and Chief Buffalo Tiger (their Father) of the Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida, the brothers' career highlights include initial recordings at Woodstock (later released in Germany on Sony's ZYX label). Their love of music and performing has led them to international stages as feature artists worldwide including concerts in Spain, Germany, France, USA & SOUTH AMERICA.In the US the Tiger brothers rocked audiences with their unique 'native heart beat music' at New York's Gas Light Lounge in Greenwich Village and the Rolling Stone Club. From the east coast the band went on to hit the USA's west coast 'LA scene', performing at such well-known venues as Thee Experience on Sunset Drive in Hollywood, Whiskey-A-Go-Go, ...

Moon's Rock music CDs
$13.35 This value-added twofer combines two classic 1960s Merle Haggard albums. Until the late 1980s, the country music industry was entirely oriented toward singles, and many artists exerted minimal effort to release quality albums--Merle Haggard being one of the exceptions. Among the non-single tracks on SING ME BACK HOME are such great originals as "Wine Take Me Away," "I'll Leave the Bottle on The Bar," and "Look Over Me." Haggard has never denied his debt to earlier country greats, and here he tips his hat to one of his favorites, Lefty Frizzell, with a fine cover version of "Mom and Dad Waltz." THE LEGEND OF BONNIE AND CLYDE also combines Haggard originals with other ...

Moon's Rock songs
$18.65 Original US LP release was titled "Over Under Sideways Down".
This 31 track collection features the original 12 track album from 1966 in a mono version, then the entire album in a stereo version, including 5 bonus single tracks by Keith Relf, as well as 2 mono tracks that open the disc.
By the time the Yardbirds recorded ROGER THE ENGINEER in 1966, the British Invasion was in full swing. Like their brethren, they targeted Chicago blues as ground zero for musical inspiration. As a result, most Yardbirds recordings and live sets were chock full of numbers by the likes of Sonny Boy Williamson, Chuck Berry, and Elmore James. ROGER was a departure for the band, as all the material was self-penned.
With guitarist Jeff Beck leading the charge (having replaced departed blues purist Eric Clapton), the Yardbirds began exploring the possibilities of electric guitar and of rock in general. The Middle Eastern garage rock of "Over, Under, Sideways, Down" bumps up against the rockabilly swing of "Jeff's Boogie." Alongside Beck's thrilling guitar histrionics, there's the genteel English pastoral feel of "Farewell" and a quirky instrumental bubbling over with jazz bass, a rubbery-sounding beat, and chanting--"Hot House Of Omagarashid."
