Malaga album
$12.79 World-class guitar virtuoso Armik plays 12 exquisite songs on his sixth release for the BajaTSR label titled Rosas Del Amor. He tops his best-selling Isla del Sol by using fresh romantic themes based on his journeys through Spain. Each song is as pure and fragile as a moment in life itself, simply said, like the life of a rose. Armik plays 12 different guitars in order to bring the individual melodies and arrangements of each song to the anticipated desire of his listeners. ...
| | David & Steve Gordon Sacred Spirit Drums CD (1995)
Malaga CD music
$13.05 Sacred Spirit Drums by brothers David and Steve Gordon is the sequel to their best-selling Sacred Earth Drums. With these two albums, the brothers begin to acknowledge their separate musical contributions (admittedly, they play many of the same instruments, but Steve adds guitars to the mix) and offer extensive liner notes, which in this case offer the story of the rituals of a shaman. Although the brothers play many African drums, the beats for most tracks are either basic Native American (4/4 or 1/1), with just slight embellishments; or, once established, the drum patterns remain a constant and easy groove. Native American flutes and jaunty Incan pan pipes provide the song, while guitar (the Spanish guitar on "Path with a Heart" is lovely), mandolin, electronic instruments, vocals, and nature sounds (birds recorded at Anzo Borrego National State Park) provide expansive musical depth. Sacred Spirit Drums is an intoxicating musical experience, accessible on many levels. The shaman's story is wonderful. ~ Carol Wright
David and Steve are back with the follow up to their very successful, Sacred Earth Drums, "with an even more melodic, magical, danceable story about a Shaman who journeys into the Spirit world to find a way to heal the Earth and its people. You will hear more trance/dance beats and a lot more acoustic and electric guitar. Yes, as hard as it may be to believe, Sacred Spirit Drums is better than Sacred Earth Drums. Not only did they compose all the music, David and Steve both use many types of drums and indigenous rattles, Native American Flutes and ...

| | Johnny Cash All Aboard The Blue Train CD (1962) Bonus Tracks
Malaga songs
$10.59 Originally put together by Sun Records in 1962, some four years after Johnny Cash had flown the coop to Columbia, this collection of train-related songs actually holds together better than many more recent compilations. Together with the familiar strains of "Rock Island Line," "The Wreck of Old '97," and "Hey, Porter!," the 21st-century version features previously unreleased outtakes and demos of songs like Jimmie Rodgers' "Brakeman's Blues," Cash's own "Leave That Junk Alone," and his "You're My Baby'--the latter later rocked-up by Roy Orbison--which Cash claimed was the worst song he ever wrote.
Nearly all of the tracks on Johnny Cash's All Aboard the Blue Train involve trains in some way, making this possibly one of Cash's ...
| | Debbie De Courdreaux Have A Little Paris On Me CD (2003)
Malaga album
$15.05 Former Moulin Rouge star collaborates with 'Dream Team' to create "Have a Little Paris on Me" Debbie de Coudreaux, international singer and performer, has enjoyed a diverse career - headliner at the Moulin Rouge in Paris, Broadway star, model, spokesperson and now, recording artist. All these elements come together to help create her debut CD "Have A Little Paris on Me" which chronicles her experiences as an American in Paris, circa 1990. She is the only American, other than Josephine Baker, to have starred at the world famous Parisian cabaret; and her eight year run as 'vedette' is the revue's longest-surpassing Baker and the legendary Mistenguett. Ms. de Coudreaux also played leading roles in Tommy Tune's "Grand Hotel," both on Broadway and London's West End, and in Harold Prince's "Show Boat" on Broadway. Ms. de Coudreaux showcases a variety of singing styles performing the twelve songs that retrace her life-changing experiences in Paris. Effortlessly alternating between heart wrenching ballads, sultry blues and up-tempo comedy numbers, she draws the listener in to her homage to France's cultural and entertainment capital. "When I first started this project, I approached David Andrews Rogers, who had been my musical director and conductor for "Show Boat," Debbie explains. "He didn't laugh when I announced my rather ambitious idea for a CD project. Rather, he embraced it to the point that, as Musical ...

$13.15 Dana Bauer grew up in Vallejo California as part of a music-loving family. An oboe major at San Francisco State University, she worked her way through college singing with her own band. The band's repetoire included swing, country and pop, but then and always, Dana's heart belonged ...
