The title may be a tad deceptive--one of Dusty Springfield's most memorable records, a gorgeous take on Arthur Alexander's Southern soul classic "Every Day I Have to Cry" is mysteriously missing--but this is nonetheless one of the best single disc anthologies of her work. Arranged in more or less chronological order, it runs the gamut from the exuberant pure pop of "I Only Want to Be With You," through the proto-power ballad "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me," to "A Brand New Me," her last American hit.
Some of the lesser known tracks are also revelatory--in the Spector-esque "Stay Awhile" Springfield overdubs herself into a one-woman version of the Ronettes. Her version of "I Just Don't Know What to Do With Myself" has often been performed by Elvis Costello.

Federico Aubele's second album, Panamericana, features many of the same qualities that earned acclaim for his debut, Gran Hotel Buenos Aires (2004), and garnered a strong word-of-mouth following for his music. The porteño again sets his lovely Spanish-language songs against a hypnotic backdrop of Spanish guitar, dub basslines, hip-hop beats, Latin percussion, and ambient production motifs informed by Thievery Corporation, one of whose members, Eric Hilton, is credited with the album's production. As on Gran Hotel Buenos Aires, many of the songs are sung by females; in the case of this album, the dreamy voice of Natalia Clavier, a fellow Argentine from Buenos Aires, graces ten of the 13 songs, either as lead ("La Esquina," "Maria José," "La Orilla," "Corazón," "Lluvia") or harmony vocalist ("En Cada Lugar," "Tan Difícil," "En el Desierto," "Su Melodía," "La Mar"). 7 Day Ride began as a jam session among friends and grew into the musical sensation it is today. Each member of 7 Day Ride have their own unique perspective toward music, which allows the group to appeal to people of all ages and walks of life. Marie Henderson, Eric Henderson, Danny Beason, Neal Hawkins, and Jamie Lassetter are 7 Day Ride, but they are more than the typical band, with each member adding their own style to the music, giving the band a rich sound, with a kicking Southern flavor. Marie Henderson, wife and mother of 4 girls, was born and raised in Geraldine, AL. Born into a family of musicians, her love of music began at an early age. She began singing in church at the age of 5. An award-winning songwriter and a self-taught guitarist, she got her first guitar at age 13 and at the age of 14 wrote her first song. She performed in various Talent Shows and events throughout high school, marched the alto saxophone in the Geraldine High School Marching Band, and performed with the FFA string band. Her roots began in Gospel music, but grew to include a wide variety of artists and genres. Just a few of her favorite artists include: Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Daughtry, Whiskey Falls, Shinedown, Stevie Wonder, Little Big Town, Martina Mc Bride, Faith Hill, Steven Curtis Chapman, and Clay Crosse.
