Throughout the '80s and early '90s, New York City-based thrash leaders Anthrax issued a host of singles in Europe. Many of the b-sides were not available elsewhere--few ever saw the light of day in the band's homeland. But 1991's b-side compilation ATTACK OF THE KILLER B's collects almost all of these rare tracks, as well as live recordings and other songs recorded especially for the compilation.
Highlights include spirited covers of Kiss's "Parasite," the Ventures' "Pipeline," and Discharge's "Protest and Survive," a collaboration with Public Enemy on its "Bring the Noise," plus re-recordings of tracks originally cut by the Anthrax side-project S.O.D., "Milk" and "Chromatic Death." ATTACK OF THE KILLER B's is an indispensable addition to the collection of any longtime fan.

Anthrax Attack Of The Killer B'S Songs Attack Of The Killer B'S Music Review Average Rating: (4 out of 5 stars) Good. Bring the Noise! This song just works... even though I'm no fan of rap, its just its own beast, and it kicks ass. Submitted by Eric (Dayton, OH) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
"classic!" This is a great collection of b sides and rarities. Not one bad song on here. The S.O.D song "milk" Is superbly covered, although I don't really think the solo is necsesary (Dan spitz felt he had to show off!) The live tracks are also great. Any thrax fan should own this great cd. And kicking out Joey was a foolish decision. Submitted by tim_thomson666 (Dunedin, New Zealand) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Decent EP For the most part, this is a decent Album. I liked the fact that Anthrax is all over the place as a band, but I am kind of dissapointed about some of the songs selected to be on this album. One of which I thought dragged the album down a bit. "Starting up a possie" was the long point on this album. Sounds like a filler song. Other then that, this is a decent album. Coveres to live songs, its got some decent stuff. Submitted by a reviewer (Minneapolis, MN) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

Attack Of The Killer B'S
$8.15 After guitarist Dave Mustaine was booted out of Metallica in 1983, he immediately returned home to San Francisco and formed Megadeth. The new outfit was instantly compared to Mustaine's former band, and the comparisons haven't subsided since. Whereas both outfits shared such musical elements as muted guitar riffs and speedy rhythms, Megadeth's first album seemed to be more influenced by punk and hardcore. KILLING IS MY BUSINESS AND BUSINESS IS GOOD also saw Mustaine's debuting his lead-vocal skills.
Mustaine must have had a lot of pent-up anger to express, since KILLING is simply explosive from beginning to end. The brutal title track lyrically deals with a sniper who revels in hunting down his unsuspecting prey. Nancy Sinatra's hit "These ...
