The Eleventh Hour delivers powerful music and a powerful message from composer/keyboardist Mars Lasar: there is hope for a world in crisis. The 70 minutes of music addressing many social and environmental issues graces brilliantly synthesized melodies with the perfect balance of power and sensitivity. From the poignant violin strains of "Children of the World" to the native chantings in "Geronimo" to the soaring dramatic spaces of "Corroboree," Lasar voices many distinctive styles, but the quality of each is consistently outstanding. ~ MusD

Eleventh Hour album
$14.25 "What It's Like" was nominated for the 2000 Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance.
The former frontman for House of Pain sheds the hip-hop-only mode and steps out into the world of rock with this release. Tapping into the social structure of rock, Everlast keeps his rap credibility but blesses the skateboard kids with r&r vibes, making a brilliant texture of hip-hop beats and six-string melodies. "What It's Like," the album's first single, enjoyed a much-deserved rise towards the top of the charts.
Produced by John Gamble and the SD50, WHITEY FORD contains tracks that offer the lyrical depth and social relevance Everlast has always been known for. Tracks like "Ends," "Praise the Lord" and "Death Comes Callin'" show why Everlast remained on the scene for more than a decade. Guest appearances from Sadat X of Brand Nubian, Bronx Style Bob and Casual, along with interludes from Guru, Prince Paul, and Sen Dog from Cypress Hill keep plenty of flavor flowin' throughout the album.
Includes liner notes by Everlast.

Eleventh Hour songs
$6.91 After scoring big with their previous effort, FLOORED, Sugar Ray returns with their infectious blend of funky grooves, modern rock and hip-hop. The group manages to meld all of these styles into an excellently produced, exciting record.
Opening with the deceptive, Sepultura style "New Direction," Sugar Ray glides into a mellower mode with the album's first single "Every Morning," a comfortable pop ditty. "Live And Direct" has a reggae feel and features veteran rapper KRS-One. "Someday" is a straight-ahead pop tune, with some drum loops and scratches thrown in. "Ode To The Lonely Hearted" combines smooth harmonies with catchy hooks. "Even Though" rocks harder, but still remains a slick, short and sweet pop tune. "Abracadabra" is a cover of Steve Miller's smash hit, with some extra keyboards and programming added. Sugar ...
| | Wedding Singer 2 More Music From The Motion Picture The Wedding Singer CD (1998) Original Soundtrack
Eleventh Hour album
$9.65 All tracks have been digitally mastered using HDCD technology.
This Adam Sandler/Drew Barrymore comedy, like several other late-'90s films, played on the '80s nostalgia factor, a process impossible without the right music. The initial WEDDING SINGER soundtrack album proved to be so popular that this collection, featuring yet more music from the film, was trotted out. Eighties-hungry pop fans should certainly get their fill here.
There's a little bit of everything on this disc, from radio giants like Madonna and Hall & Oates to more obscure acts like Flying Lizards ...

| | Only Hits CD (2006)
Eleventh Hour album
$11.39 As NOW-styled contemporary hits collections go, 2006's Only Hits isn't in the first rank. At 12 tracks, it's a little brief, and it's also a curious selection of music, too. This leans heavily on hip-hop and R&B -- all but two of the cuts could be categorized this way -- which makes Panic! at the Disco's "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" and James Blunt's "You're Beautiful" stick out like sore thumbs. The rest is a combination of songs that were big on the radio in 2006, some of them -- like Cassie's "Me & U" (here in a remix), Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy" -- bigger than others, which is why this isn't quite in the first rank of contemporary hits collections: ...
| | Jim Chevalier Almost Floating CD (2006)
Eleventh Hour CD music
$11.39 Raised by two career musicians, a piano playing mother, a guitar playing father, his aunts recorded with Columbia Records, his grandfather on his mother's side was a burlesque man, his grandfather on his father's side was a piano tuner. Lived in a home full of music and musicians, drifters and poets, painters and story tellers, magicians, bohemians who would sit up all night drinking gallons of tea and talking to whoever would listen about anything and everything; music, politics, religion, philosophy and life in general. He began creating his own tunes at thirteen years of age, playing in bands by 14.An Award Winning Songwriter some call a legend, a guitarist some admire, a singer although he cringes at compliments on a voice that in the words of those who know say "it emotes" an artist who understands what paying your dues means. He has often been heard saying that he has never been very ambitous. He has turned down more opportunities than most ever encounter. His music is real and it touches people. His audience cares and he cares about them; "its all about them" he has said. Mike Stevens (Virtuoso and producer of Almost Floating) when asked why he chose to do this project, quickly and simply replied "because he deserves it". Jim has alot to share and feels it is time; "I am not a writer, not a musician, a poet or a performer because of the desire for money ...
