$13.45 If there was ever a recording created for placement on the syndicated Musical Starstreams space music show, this galaxy of pretty but meandering rays of light is it. | | 2002 Across An Ocean Of Dreams CD (2002)
Wings
$13.39 Finally, Pamela and Randy Copus release an album in the year they named their group after. Favorites on Billboard's new age chart, they go deep-sea diving on this sweeping, often majestic musical exploration of the ocean. There's not much dance of dolphins at play in the music (i.e., expect more caressing atmosphere and meditative melodies than anything too innovative or exciting), but they do evoke a bit of the classic Enya sound. On the opening track, "The Ocean Dreams," they blend a synth footprint pattern with a soothing flute and twangy acoustic guitar, all somewhat muted to give off the murky effect ...

| | Klaus Schulze Inter*Face CD (1985)
Wings
$14.59 Inter*Face is a disappointment. Klaus Schulze combines Berlin school electronica with rock & roll textures better than most. He does so on this album and he also incorporates some (ouch!) disco beats. There are four tracks on this CD. The first three -- about half the disc -- are run of the mill at best. Track four, the title track, is vintage Schulze. It features spacy atmospheres, experimental timbres, symphonic textures, and deep sequences. The overall CD is uneven. This is for die-hard Schulze fans only. ~ Jim Brenholts

| | Richard Snow Tuesday Music CD (2008) Re-Issue
Wings
$12.15 Richard Snow is a 33-year-old singer-songwriter from Nottingham, UK who sings, plays guitar, keyboards, bass and percussion. His influences are The Beach Boys, The Byrds, The Beatles and R.E.M. A former member of the new wave/post-punk band Enellen and a couple of other bands, Snow has also worked as a recording engineer. It was during this time that he learned how to make top-notch, professional-quality recordings, an experience that would later become indispensible in making his own albums. Having made two solo albums, he is now working on a third with his new band The Inlaws. Those fortunate enough to have heard Snow’s music are no doubt aware of his amazing gift for beautifully crafted, catchy power pop backed with multi-layered, Beach Boys-style harmonies. Richard Snow was originally released in the UK in 2002 and was received warmly by the indie music press. One of the tracks, “Real”, was later included in the 2004 Brian and Dennis Wilson tribute CD Two Steps Forward. Snow’s second CD Tuesday Music was released ...
