Cliff Douglas continued to cut albums over the years and had some near misses with fame. Somewhere in his twenties, Cliff Douglas decided that music wasn’t going to pay the bills and he turned to driving a truck. In the evenings and on the weekends, he would play gigs from Sioux Falls to Fresno and then drive a truck to pay the bills and support his recording habit.
