| | Star Trek II Wrath Of KH Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan Soundtrack CD (1 Customer Review)
Composed and conducted by James Horner. Taking the musical reins from the legendary Jerry Goldsmith, James Horner boarded the Starship Enterprise to deliver what would prove to be his breakthrough score. A surprisingly dark, emotional effort some distance removed from Goldsmith's utopian fanfare, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan was instrumental in steering the franchise into more complex territory. Horner's lucid melodies and sweeping orchestral arrangements possess a sense of genuine danger and malice long absent from Star Trek's musical backdrop, climaxing in the profoundly emotional catharsis of "Spock." His efforts lend Trek creator Gene Roddenberry's vision a newfound gravitas. ~ Jason Ankeny Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan Soundtrack Music Star Trek II Wrath Of KH Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan Soundtrack Songs | 1. | Main Title |

Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan Soundtrack
$9.35 The Told Co-founders J.R.Lee, guitarist/vocals/songwriter and Daniel Bruehl guitarist/songwriter met at a concert in Danielâs hometown of Wallerfangen, Germany. "During the opening group we met thru mutual friends and later the members of my old band decided to invite J.R. to jam with us⊠it took no time at all before J.R. was singing. We were pretty much blown away, so with no hesitation we asked him to join the band with us." Since that day, the musical relationship has remained dependably loyal. "We have the same exact vision regarding what we love about music," J.R. recalls. âWe wanted to give the band a unique soundâ. âItâs like taking a mixture of New Metal, Seattle âGrungeâ andToolâs groove. We think it is pretty cool.ââThe Toldâ first took shape in Saarlouis, Germany at the beginning of '06. Arising after months of intense song writing came the strong, rich, melodic, and driving Alternative Rock-style that is "The Toldâ today. Influenced by a wide-ranging collection of artists such as Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Tool, Pearl Jam, Creed, Dream Theater, The Doors, Sabbath and many others, the band started by releasing an EP originally planned to be a Demo of its material called Inter Vivos.Through self marketing, promotion and well planned concerts helped The Told to sell over 500 copies of the release. Even without the benefit of support companies, The Told began toestablish a reputation. "A lot of it developed by being elusive," Bruehl remembers. "The second song we ever wrote was this 4-minute, unbelievable song called âStop Cryingâ. And for some reason, the local people took to the song with strong acceptance. We gained this popularity around town, even though no one knew who we were, that we even played in a band or even where to find us". The Told is no longer a secret.Storming onto the scene in late â06 with their single, Stop Crying. In its first month, the song was the number 1 most-added track in three formats--Modern Rock, Active Rock and Rock and can now ...
