| Brignola at his prime
The late great baritone's muscular style is offset by his beautiful ballad work on this great recording on Reservoir. Brignola's version of "Poinciana" is alone worth the price of admission.

| Nice program of song styles
Nick Brignola has a strong tonal character, much like Gerry Mulligan or Houston Person. This works with many of the songs on this disc, but is out of place on a few of them.
