Classic old school masterpiece, major improvement from CoC Joke Ya Mind is one of the finest Insane Clown Posse songs I have ever heard. It gives there music credibility that they really had some sort of message from the beggining. Although ICP says its not about money its about family etc, they are full of crap. Even if there whole message was just a scam to get rich, I dont care because I think they have it right anyway. Joe and Joey are just 2 men who are no less greedy than the next, and who could blame them. I'm in love with the legend and the story of the characters of Violent Jay and Shaggy 2 Dope not there credibility as musicians or whether there sellouts or pansies and so on. Screw ICP, MCL. Beverly Kills 50187 album
$8.99 Once relegated to the status of wannabe rappers that fans loved to hate (as frequent guest appearances on Howard Stern's radio show would indicate), Shaggy 2 Dope and Violent J have slowly built a juggernaut (or would that be "juggalo-naut") of a music and merchandising empire around the Insane Clown Posse brand and mystique. RIDDLE BOX (1995) was the third installment of ICP's Dark ...

| | Insane Clown Posse Ringmaster CD (1994)
Beverly Kills 50187 songs
$10.45 Ringmaster, the second album from those urban pranksters the Insane Clown Posse, isn't as much a step forward as it is an improvement from their debut, Carnival of Carnage. Not that the group has really gotten any better -- they can barely rap, the beats are clumsy, the hard rock guitars are pandering -- but there is more focus on Ringmaster, which means that the album hits harder and makes a bigger impression. Of course, that means their overt sexism, inadvertent racism, and rampant juvenalia is right out there in the open, but that's really not going to offend anyone who climbed aboard the bandwagon with Carnival of Carnage. It will offend the casual observer, of course, but that's just what they're looking for. Besides, anyone who takes umbrage with the lyrics will miss what's really offensive -- the fact that ...
| | Insane Clown Posse Forgotten Freshness: Vols. 1 & 2 CDs (1998)
Beverly Kills 50187 album
$15.05 One of the few bands who can admit to having "songs that suck" on their b-sides and out-takes collection, Detroit's Insane Clown Posse throws in absolutely everything on FORGOTTEN FRESHNESS. Opening with the hilariously obnoxious, Cypress Hill-tinged "Hey Vato," this two disc set is filled with the over-the-top nastiness that put ICP on the map. Juvenile sex humor is abundant ("Fat Sweaty Betty," which carries an unsettling plot twist) as are violent murder fantasies ...
| | Insane Clown Posse Carnival Of Carnage CD (1992) Without Night & Blackin
Beverly Kills 50187 CD music
$10.45 The Insane Clown Posse introduced themselves to the world (well, at least Detroit) with their debut album, Carnival of Carnage. It pretty much spelled out their ludicrous sex'n'drugs'n'crime'n'murder'n'Faygo manifesto in no uncertain terms, since subtlety was never part of their agenda. All ICP want to do is rock the house as if they were a third-rate Beastie Boys supported by a cut-rate Faith No More, all tempered with the sensibility that made GWAR cult heroes -- only with, you know, more sexism and jokes that are supposed to be street, but wind up sounding racist. So, Carnival of Carnage delivers exactly what it promises. If you're down with the ICP -- if you're a juggalo (funny how close that is to "jigaboo," ...

| | Gene Chandler 20 Greatest Hits CD (1994)
Beverly Kills 50187 songs
$7.85 Gene Chandler has enjoyed some widely spaced hits across several different styles and musical eras, which means that any truly representative compilation of his most popular work has got to be very thorough and very ambitious. This 20-song collection, offering just under an hour of material, isn't really either -- but it still has some listening virtues. The producers give a very sketchy overview of Chandler's early-'60s history with Vee-Jay Records, represented by just three songs, the million-seller "Duke of Earl," of course, and the more modest successes "Rainbow" and "Man's Temptation." These may have been his most successful singles, but they weren't the only ones he did with the label to chart, so there's that problem with the opening tracks here. And then listeners are on to the core of this collection, Chandler's work for the Constellation label -- the presence of 17 songs from that library would be fine except for the fact that the producers haven't followed anything even remotely resembling chronological ...

Beverly Kills 50187 CD music
$11.39 Dan Newton brings the charm and elegance of the French "Musette" to life. Sweet, understated, and sophisticated, Dan's music takes the listener to a sidewalk cafe in Paris, where men in straw boaters pass by on bicycles, while others drink red wine and sip strong coffee from tiny cups. This is the kind of music one hears in black and ...
