What are Gospel Gangstaz? They're really just what the name says: a group of three rappers who use the music landscapes traditionally used by gangster rappers to give praise to the Lord. Tracks like "Once Was Blind," "One Way," and "They Don't Believe That I'm Saved" are powerful street jams that demonstrate these three MCs at their best. While some of the tracks are straight hip-hop, others have an R&B-streaked flavor that comes from toothsome chorus harmonies and smooth arrangements. In particular, "Live It Up," the title track, and "I'll Be Good" (the last of which was produced by Trackmasters) are almost guaranteed not to disappoint.

I Can See Clearly Now Music Review Average Rating: (4 out of 5 stars) AND THE SAGA CONTINUES! Gospel Gangstas, in my opinion, continues to be the best gospel rap group in the game today. Not only in style, but also in lyrics. Submitted by Hector Rodriguez (Bakersfield,CA. U.S.A.) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Where are they now? This is a good album.Better than Exodus but not as good as "do or die" or their first album "gang affiliated". But still a good buy. "I'll be good" is a good gospel, soul, rap mix. Submitted by Jay (Michigan) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Fat Gospal Rap This CD is very good. The songs are well mixed, not all one style. Good message through out, with out feeling preached to. BUT YOU GET THE MESSAGE.
A Great One. Submitted by tull5 (Virginia Beach Va) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

I Can See Clearly Now
$11.49 IF I LEFT THE ZOO won the 2001 Grammy Award for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album.
In the '90s, groups like Jars of Clay began to address the perceived gap between Christian music and rock. For young rock/pop artists of the Christian faith, there seemed to be no happy medium until groups like this one learned how to keep the beat while keeping in close contact with their spiritual values. IF I LEFT THE ZOO proves to be a rather ambitious effort for this quartet. It opens with "Goodbye, Goodnight," an eccentric tune whose chamber string section and sophisticated harmonies recall SGT. PEPPER-era Beatles. After that, though, it's straight into a hard-grooving rocker ("Unforgetful You") laced with funky rhythms and buzzing synths. The incidental studio noise and occasional self-parodic touches that crop up throughout the album show that, though ...

I Can See Clearly Now
$14.15 With the stamp of approval from the West Side's most likely to succeed, Tha Eastsidaz (which includes the Dogg himself) follow up their platinum debut with Duces æN Trayz, another chapter in the book of G-funk styled hip-hop. On this banger, Snoop, Tray Dee, and Goldie Loc invite listeners to a 20-track extravaganza. Party up.
The trio expands their sound this time around to include producers like DJ Quik and Hi-Tek, making for a more diverse Eastsidaz. From the smooth-talking raps of "I Luv It" to the gangbanging storytelling of "Crip Hop,"Tha Eastsidaz come correct on each and every song. The album's own blend of funk and hip-hop, as showcased on songs like "I Don't Know" and "Eastside Ridaz," give the Eastsidaz their niche.

| | Dru Hill Dru World Order CD (2002)
I Can See Clearly Now
$12.65 DRU WORLD ORDER is another immaculate collection of smoothly-executed R&B of the type that topped the Billboard charts on Dru Hill's first couple of releases. This third album continues where the band left off--silky smooth vocals and arrangements that ooze out of the speakers like butter, massed harmonies that take no prisoners, and after-hours love ballads such as the provocative "Xstacey Jones" that positively melt the senses. And lest you take them for a mere bunch of love wimps, there's also the tough-minded, Noreaga-assisted "TK" that bangs like the scorching street anthem it undoubtedly is. Mostly though, DRU WORLD ORDER is unapologetically sensual in its ...

I Can See Clearly Now
$10.29 Famed photographer David LaChapelle gets behind a different kind of lens for RIZE, his feature film debut. LaChapelle heads to Los Angeles to make his mark in the cinematic world, shooting a documentary about a style of hip-hop dance called "krumping." Dividing his time between the personal lives of the dancers and some spectacular on-screen demonstrations courtesy of the cream of the krumpers, LaChapelle's bright, vivacious photographic style makes an impressive translation to the big screen. Central to LaChapelle's film is Tommy "The Clown" Johnson. In the wake of the 1992 L.A. riots, Tommy performed as a traveling clown act for children's parties. Unable to satisfy the enormous demand for his act, Tommy set up a small clown-recruiting business which flourished under his tutelage. As the 21st century dawned, Tommy noticed his younger recruits had worked a unique and highly agile dance routine ...
