| | Willie Nelson Building Heartaches CD Willie Nelson Discography of CDs
Despite the late-model Willie displayed on the CD cover, this is a collection of 1960s recordings made when the outlaw country star was still trying to make it in Nashville, before his move back to Texas. The music is vintage '60s country, from the Bakersfield influenced title track and "You Wouldn't Cross the Street to Say Goodbye" to the tears-in-your-beer "Suffering in Silence," and while Nelson's voice doesn't yet possess the authority of his mature years, the compilation illustrates his masterful, if often dark, songwriting skills. Building Heartaches album
$11.69 (MP3 Available for Download) The second collection of hit singles by one of contemporary country's most popular male singers is every bit as solid as Chesney's first best-of set. Although Chesney adopted a slightly different musical style during the period covered here--a wayfarer beach bum persona heavily influenced by Jimmy Buffett--these songs stress the craft and songwriting smarts at the core of his work. Chesney's music, as evinced on II, is a mingling of Buffett-style island tunes, soft rock, country, and pop, an agreeable mixture best heard on singles like these. Highlights include the new song, "Out Last Night," as well as "Life In Fast Forward" and "Beer In ...

| | Unborn CD (2009) Original Soundtrack
Building Heartaches album
$14.09 Composer: Ramin Djawadi. Composer: Ramin Djawadi. Arranger: Ramin Djawadi. THE UNBORN is a supernatural thriller directed by David S. Goyer (THE INVISIBLE, BLADE TRINITY), and is awash with creepy imagery of evil spirits and demonic possession, chilling chase, and other disturbing visual effects. Fresh off of his Grammy nomination with 2008's IRON MAN, composer Ramin Djawadi plunges full bore into THE UNBORN, with shrill string arrangements, menacing percussion, and arguably one of the best horror main themes since RE-ANIMATOR. Although the film was not well-received by critics, Djawadi's score stands tall in the pantheon of horror movie music. Composer Ramin Djawadi, who previously worked with director David S. Goyer on Blade: Trinity, rejoins him for The Unborn. Also scripted by Goyer, the film is a sort of Hebrew take on The Exorcist in which a woman is possessed by a dybbuk, with references to the Holocaust thrown in. His cadential opening theme ...
