Coverkill album for sale Product Description
Coverkill album for sale by Overkill was released Oct 26, 1999 on the CMC International label. Coverkill arrives only several months after its predecessor Necroshine, consisting -- as the title suggests -- entirely of cover tunes rather than any newly written material. Some of the choices are predictable, but to their credit, Overkill picks some of the more underrated items from major metal artists like Black Sabbath ("Hole in the Sky," "Cornucopia," "Never Say Die"), Deep Purple ("Space Truckin'"), Kiss ("Deuce"), Judas Priest ("Tyrant"), Manowar ("Death Tone"), Jethro Tull ("Hymn 43"), plus the Motorhead tune that gave Overkill their name. Coverkill CD music contains a single disc with 12 songs. ...See Full Description

Incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It´s the best album of covers I´ve heard. "Coverkill" is better than "Garage Inc." by miles... !!!!!!!!!!! Pure intensity, furious rhytm, highly creative (the use of the bass in "Changes" is absolutely terrific!!!!!!!). By overkill (Gutter, Bastar Nation)
Excelent music I think, this cd is amazing, it has both styles: metal and punk, I think that the sabbath tunes are amazing, especially "changes", and the deep purple cover is cool!!!! space trucking!!!!!!!!! My only complaint is that I don't see any Iron Maiden cover!! By max_cantu (Monterrey, México)
Ok but I Prefer Original Overkill This album is ok, but I prefer the original Overkill material. By clcoop (South Dartmouth, MA)
