Killing Kind songs Product Information
Killing Kind album for sale by Overkill was released Nov 03, 1997 on the CMC International label. In 1996, Overkill was infused with a new musical spark as two new guitarists (Joe Comeau and Sebastian Marino) joined the band's ranks, bringing with them some fresh riffs and a higher overall level of musicianship. There is no place where this is better demonstrated than on the instrumental "Feeding Frenzy," a quick-paced, double bass attack anthem. Joining Comeau and Marino on The Killing Kind are original members Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth on vocals, D.D. Verni on bass, and relative newcomer Tim Mallare on drums. Killing Kind CD music contains a single disc with 10 songs. ...See Full Description

W O W: BATTLE is a great opener-its fast and heavy. GOD-LIKE is insanley fast, and is a lot like ELIMINATION. BURN YOU DOWN/TO ASHES is, like the dude below said, just like SKULLKRUSHER. LET ME SHUT THAT is a great thrash song(great chorus, too). PAGAN STOMP is incredible. It sounds like I HEAR BLACK(the song). I also like the cool FEEDING FRENZY. CLEANSING is a very heavy and slow song. COLD HARD FACT is another thrash hit. All of those songs are simply amazing. But PRIVATE BLEEDING just flat-out sucks.

I picked this cd up new for $3.00 and I just have to say its great and i'm glad overkill haven't changed their style too much since the years of decay. Blitz and the boys are in good form on this one and all the songs are good except "the morning after" which the piano and vocals just put me off. Anyhoo I reccomend this to any overkill fan.

It's best overkill album I heard, they've their own style and stick to it. One the best thrash metal bands there is. It's a great colectors album.

||100% Raw, super thrash metal stuff for your ears|
If you're reading this you're finding out that this band is probably the best in the history of metal--Blitz is a quiet legend and he's always recuited the most talented players. Killing Kind is a great CD, maybe even their best of the 90's. It really pounds and the new duo of Marino & Comeau are just awesome on guitars. It's faster than I Hear Black but a little slower than W.F. O., just the perfect combination of power riffs, Blitz yells, great solos and thunder by Tim Mallare on drums. You will headbanging to this CD, I guarantee it. "Mourning After" is perfection of the metal ballad, and "Cold Hard Fact" really sums up what this band's all about. And don't forget the always tough, always Overkill lyrics--agressive to say the least. These guys deserve a lot of credit for putting out one heck of a metal album in a time of alternajunk music (mid 90's).
