$14.29 Detroit comprises a six-composition suite commissioned for the 2009 thirtieth anniversary Detroit International Jazz Festival, played in the studio with musicians from composer/arranger Gerald Wilson's Los Angeles home or New York City area. With You CD music
$13.15 Cellar Records recording artist, Michael Davis, born in Springfield, Illinois, grew up in the small town of Petersburg, Illinois. Ever since he could remember, Michael has had a passion for music, either listening or playing. Michael would practice for hours after school and eventually, started writing his own material. After a few years of trying, Michael finally formed a band. On October 26th, 2002, "Friday Nite" took the stage for their first half hour gig at New Salem State Park opening for a dinner theatre. The band stayed together for the next three years and eventually met up with their local producer and friend, Junior Stevens, to record and independently release their self-titled album of original material. Geography eventually split the band apart. After the breakup of Friday Nite, Michael taught himself how to play acoustic guitar and has been singing and writing ever since. His first six-song EP, Sappy Songs for Sappy Days, was self-released in June of 2006. From the catchy Spanish-style ...
