| A High wire act
This hard to find recording seems to have more energy than the Live at Carnegie Hall recording. The Carnegie hall recording has less mistakes, and a little more polish, but Live in Japan 1972 has the fire that made Chicago famous as a live act. This album should be required listening to those who think a concert is prerecorded music with dancers. This album is a high wire act, with the risk of falling very real, but has the thrills that go with that risk.
