Christopher Walken as the Angel Gabriel, battling AGAINST God; Viggo Mortenson as Lucifer; Elias Koteas as Simon, fighting FOR God; and Eric Stoltz as a priest, lost faith, and turned cop... For ANYONE who likes movies that make you think about faith and religion, question them even, then this is a movie series you MUST SEE! I know of 4 of them, and a friend recetly told me there is a 5th available. If you liked Stigmata, this far exceeds, and is on a level with Constantine (Keanu Reeves). WATCH THEM ALL!

TWO WORDS TO DESCRIBE THIS MOVIE:REALLY DARK..........A DIFFERENT HISTORY,WITH A DARK THEME ARROUND EVEN WHEN YOU DENY GOD,THERES ALWAYS A CHANCE TO BELIEVE AGAIN.....GREAT PERSONIFICATION OF SATAN(IS THIS SATAN VIGO MORTENESEN????)I ENJOYED THE FIRST PICTURE,THE SECOND AND THIRD PART OF THIS TRILOGY IS NOT AS GOOD AS THE FIRST PICTURE,A MUST HAVE!!!!!!!

Christopher Walken is one of the greatest actors of all time I believe and only does this movie and the other 2 justice. This was easily the best apocalypse movie i have ever seen as it was about angels fighting rather than cronies on earth trying to bring about the earths destruction. 6 out of 5.
