5 stars The REAL Annie
This production focuses on the characters not on the performers (as was the case with the Albert Finney/Carol Burnett monstrosity.) It returns all the glorious music (and story)from the stage production and does it with style, grace, and charm. A truly magical moment is the number "NYC" when the Star To Be appears: the original Annie herself - Andrea McCardle
