Jugglin' Cats is the 11th offering in Tom Morrell & the Time Warp Tophands' How the West Was Swung series. Just like the other albums in this series, this one is filled with plenty of pure and simple Western swing done in that impressive Tom Morrell style that keeps his fans coming back for more. On this recording, Morrell, who also served as arranger and producer, brought in some top-notch singers to help out, including Trudy Fair, Maryann Price, Rebecca Kilgore, and Chris O'Connell. Morrell is a talented musician from the old school, comfortable playing the guitar, the steel guitar, and even the dobro. He had been performing for four decades at the time of this recording, and was inducted into the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame in 1988. All of those talents and years of experience shine on this album, which smoothly blends country and jazz to come up with toe-tapping Western swing. ~ Charlotte Dillon
