"Put It On Me" was nominated for the 2002 Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance By A Duo Or Group.
Ja Rule is destined for stardom. After selling over a million copies of his debut album VENNI VETTI VECCI on the strength of one hit single ("Holla Holla"), and landing a major role in a Coca Cola campaign, it's no surprise that his sophomore album RULE 3:36 followed so quickly on the former's heels.
Personnel includes: Ja Rule, Christina Milian, Vita, Tah Murdah, Black Child, Dave Bing, Jayo Felony, Shade Sheist, Lil' Mo, 01.
Producers: Lil' Rob, Irv Gotti, Tru Stylze, Self, Ty Fyhe.
Personnel: Ja Rule (vocals, rap vocals).
Recording information: Battery Studios, New York, NY; Enterprise Studios, LA, CA; Sound on Sound, New York, NY; Soundcastle, LA, CA; The Crackhouse, New York, NY.
RULE 3:36 is as solid as Ja Rule's first release. Produced by Murder Inc., the tracks vary from pop-influenced R&B to hardcore rap, so there's a little something for everybody. "Between Me and You" and "Put it on Me" are lighter, summery-sounding jams that will put bodies on the dance floor, but Ja Rule proves he's also got the rhymes to hang with the big dogs, on songs such as "Love Me Hate Me" and "6 Feet Underground."

Rule 3:36 Music Review Average Rating: (3.6 out of 5 stars) List All Reviews Only Reason Y'all Hatin Is Cause Y'all Ridin 50 Cent! Ja made a good album and people need to respect that and quit hatin just cause tha fact that 50 started talkin bout Ja Rule. Before 50 said anything bout Ja everybody was feelin him but when 50 started talkin bad about him they stopped feelin him. This album is good and people need to quit ridin other people and make their own judgement.50 Cent is hard too,but Ja has lyrical skills too he has dropped some hot 16's on plentu of DJ Clue mixtapes. Use ya head dont let people tell u what to think. Submitted by T-Blaze (Pittsburgh,Pistolvainia) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 1 of 1 found this helpful.
Gay!!!! Ja Rule is know doubt the worst rapper next to Shaquille O' Neal and 50 Cent. Boy he can't rap. My friend gave me this cd because I thought it would be okay like Venni Vecci Vetti or whatever, so I listened to it and ouch this one bombed Ja Rule's career. He copied DMX's style of rapping so who would want to hear him? Plus he just talks basically when he raps. I tried giving this cd back to my friend, but he rejected the offer and I was left to live with one horrible aspect. Having a dumb, pointless, and stpid Ja Rule cd that I crushed to pieces and burnt the notebook and fed the cd to my neighbours dog. Submitted by derekp8 (Toronto, ON, Canada) Was This Review Helpful? Rule 3:36 album
$8.99 Principally recorded at Rock Land Studios, Chicago, Illinois.
"I Wish" was nominated for the 2001 Grammy Award for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance.
Few people have ever bought an R. Kelly record for its sophisticated lyrical innuendo, and on TP-2.COM Kelly offers more of the unabashedly carnal mack-daddy R&B that made him a pinup in the '90s. It's clear from the outset that Kelly means business, as the opening tune finds him declaring that he's "horny as hell" and "it's about to get kinky."
Over the sensual slow jam of "Strip for You," he informs his ...
