Shango album for sale Product Description
Shango album for sale by Santana was released Jun 02, 1989 on the Columbia label. SHANGO features some of the highest-charting material that Santana would put out prior to 1999's fireball success, SUPERNATURAL. Shango CD music Producer Bill Szymczyk brings his crisp, Eagles-seasoned touch to the set, while singer Alex Ligertwood fills in on rhythm guitar parts, opening the way for Carlos to take the lead. "The Nile" is a slow-burning vision of a mystical trip to the river with an Egyptian maiden, culminating in a spirited duel between Ligertwood's soaring vocals and Carlos' bluesy shredding. Shango CD music contains a single disc with 11 songs. ...See Full Description

Santana gives a solid performance Santana continues to make good music. There seems to be a wide variety of it on this CD. My personal favorite is the reggae-flavored "Let me inside." By Kathys2004 (St. Louis, Mo USA)
Awesome ...one of Carlos' best ! I'd buy this album just to have 'hold on' (fantastic guitar!) but there is so much more to it! Shango is very underrated. By pausgree (Edmonton, Canada)
Excellent, BAR-NONE!!!!! First off. I want to address the previous reviewer, a Mr. Grupman from merry old Bury, England. Sir your English and have no sense of hispanic/mexican/spanish culture music like your fellow Englishman (lead singer for Santana) Mr. Alex Ligertwood. He obviously understands it. So I suggest a 101 course in this type of GREAT cultural music. Now on to my review. Short and sweet too. Go buy this cd ASAP and sit back on the front/back porch and pop open a 12 pack of Tecate' cerveza (beer) longnecks, and have a shot or two of Sammy Hagar's fine tequila and rock your socks off to the MAX. You'll not be sorry. Need I say more ? Adios amigas and amigos. By Jorge' Kantamos (Okieland, USA)
Classic! This is a great album!!! "The Nile" is GREAT SONG, I fail to understand why this song is not listed as one of Santana's best. "Hold On" is another highlight. As far as I am concerned this is classic stuff. By adityakumardsv (Hyderabad, India)
Underrated Santana album! This has been an underrated Santana album, but it is clearly a very good one, along the lines of Zebop. "Hold On" is a great hit song, but in general very solid! By a reviewer (Caracas, Venezuela)
