The Memphis-born, Brooklyn-transplanted singer Megan Reilly assembled a supergroup of sorts (including the Pere Ubu bassist Tony Maimone, the Two Dollar Guitar and Cat Power guitarist Tim Foljahn, and the Mekons drummer Steve Goulding) for her debut album, a collection of subtle, whispered confessionals occasionally punctuated by surprisingly iron-lunged vocals.
