erroll garner, the genius
I agree with Arnold van Kampen; this concert is one of his greatest recordings but the "Amsterdam Concert" (1964) is even better and I know that because I was there and I do have the mastertapes of the complete concert (appr.3 hours). Only 36 minutes is released on a LP and the rest is unreleased ( too bad).

Of course "Concert by the Sea" is one of the greatest records in the history of jazz and one of the best selling ever.

Can Listen Over and Over and Over
I have Eroll Garner's Concert by the Sea on record and tape and have listened to it for years. The sound never gets old to me and I can literally listen to it continually, forever.
