||Cohen in good company|
I never managed to get the record when it was released in the 70's and it is a somewhat different Cohen record produced by Phil Spector who also co-wrote some of the songs. There are many memorable moments on the CD - my favorites are Iodine, I left a woman waiting and Don,t go home with your hard-on with Bob Dylon doing background vocals. Cohen at the age of 73 just visited my hometown Aarhus and gave a fantastic and very intense concert, so he is still going strong!

|A STRANGE DELERIOUS DREAM|
This album tends to be regarded as a bit of a misfire. I disagree. It could be the circumstances I first heard it under, temperature high, feverish, slightly delerious- it all made perfect sense. As the songs glided by, I saw a strange demented film playing, and the cast all knew their parts, and where to stand. I have loved it ever since. So, maybe an altered state is the way to go.
