Trash album for sale Product Description
Trash album for sale by Alice Cooper was released Apr 03, 2006 on the Epic label. While Alice Cooper's late-'80s comeback was a success largely on the strength of his ever-popular stage show, his albums of the era, 1986's CONSTRICTOR and 1987's RAISE YOUR FIST AND YELL, failed to reap mass commercial success. All of this changed with 1989's TRASH, his first platinum-certified album in nearly 15 years. The album's top-10 single "Poison" made fans of '80s glam-metal fully embrace Cooper, a man who had almost single-handedly created the genre. ...See Full Description

Alice goes with the times Alice hadn't had a hit in ages by the late 80s, and Desmond Child was one of the hottest hit writers of the time, so it seems logical for Alice to use him to resuscitate his career. For the most part, the results are excellent, especially Poison,House of Fire(best song here),Bed of Nails, and Trash(sounds like his 70s stuff, more gritty). However, the ballads Only My Heart Talkin' and Hell Is Living Without You are terribly cheesy and boring, and Why Trust You is just filler. The production here is very slick and polished, with huge choruses; whether that's a good or bad thing is up to you. If you like hair metal, pick this up; if you're looking for the Alice Cooper of the 70s, skip this one. By mcsavage (Pittsburgh, PA)
two words: Desmond Child. Desmond Child is to this album what Mutt Lange is to Def Leppard, or Jim Steinman to Meat Loaf. He is the master behind the monster. This is what Desmond Child is all about. "Poison" is a classic and lives up to what Child has written for Bon Jovi or Kiss or Joan Jett. If you like the songs, you probably are a Desmond Child's fan without knowing it. And you are surely humming his other songs without knowing it's him who wrote it. And what a name, huh? Think of it: Des-mond-Child. How cooler can you get? By JEAN-RENé (Montréal, QC (Canada))
HAIR METAL ALICE Don't listen to this guy below. He obviously knows nothing about Hair Metal. The Hair Metal Power Ballads are the best thing about this album. A great album!! Also get HEY STOOPID, Coop's next Hair Metal album. It's even better than this one. Enjoy. By Sleazy Joe (Hairspray, USA)
