Her Best "Best of" This album presents hit after hit, dating back to the beginning of Gloria Estefan's career. Each song is just wonderful. Smooth, romantic ballads interspersed with music guaranteed to get you "off your feet" and dance. Submitted by brianfos (Castro Valley, CA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

Where are the rest? Nice nice, but instead of the "previously unreleased" stuff, they should've included "Bad Boy", "Falling In Love (Uh-Oh)", and "Live For Loving You". If they'd done that, this would've been an easy 5 star compilation Submitted by midnightblue_80 (Alpine, AL, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

| | Sergio Salvatore Point Of Presence CD (1997)
Greatest Hits
$12.59 Sergio Salvatore has the odd fortune of resembling child actor Fred Savage from TV's "The Wonder Years, " and that could have plagued the public's openmindedness towards taking him seriously as a major jazz talent, rather than just a cute novelty. Fortunately, deep talent has won out and the prodigy, now a teenager, has bloomed into a multi-faceted composer/performer. ...

$17.75 I am thrilled to announce my newest CD. All Jazzed Up is a great compilation of Jazz standards, both known and obscure. One of the things I strive in all my performances is to breath new life into songs that may have become dated in the musical world. I also wanted to take this time on this CD pay homage to some of the great singers that have affected my voice, and the vocal map of Jazz singing as a whole. Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Louis Prima, and Louis Armstrong all are singers that are well worth revisiting. I also have formed myself as a scat singer over the past years. It is an art form that is not touched by many current Jazz singers, and even fewer males out of this genre. The band on this CD is also worth the listening to. Pittsburgh’s premiere Jazz Combo, Trio Bravo, with the incomparable John D’Amico on piano, Virgil Walters on Bass, and Lenny Rogers on drums. John D’Amico also did all of the arranging for this recording as well. Please visit my website: www.adamdouglasbrock.com ...
