| Do I need a doctor?
Never mind the double negative in "I don't need no doctor." This is truly a wonderful LP. These guys were my favorite country-rock band of the 70's. Back then my bachelor apartment was filled with friends, dim lights, thick smoke and loud, loud New Riders!

| old friends rediscovered
As an old neigbour of the Dead and Riders, it was wonderful to rediscover Powerglide. I have memories of fun times in the studio - it's a goodtime album, with Marmaduke's mellower stuff ("Lochinvar") being nicely balanced out by the addition of older standards such as "Hello Mary Lou" and a rocking "I Don't Need No Doctor" Check out Nicky's amazing piano work on "Dim Lights" and "Doctor"

| Better than I remembered
I had the LP in the 70's and haven't listened to the music in years. Holds up better, with time, than the album "Panama Red"
