In My Lifetime album by Neil Diamond was released Oct 29, 1996 on the Legacy label. IN MY LIFETIME is a three-disc box set with 71 tracks spanning Neil Diamond's career from 1958 to the mid-1990s. In My Lifetime songs Its many rarities include several demos and acetates from the late '50s and early '60s, mono versions of Diamond's hits for Bang Records in the '60s, and tracks from an unreleased album recorded in the 1980s. Recorded between 1958 and 1996. Includes liner notes by Neil Diamond and David Wild. Digitally remastered by David Mitson (Sony Music Studios, Santa Monica, California). Until the release of the three-CD box set IN MY LIFETIME, no single set had ever collected all of Neil Diamond's original hit recordings. Licensing conflicts among Bang, MCA, and Columbia--the three companies for which Diamond has recorded--previously prevented the release of a definitive collection, requiring such sets as THE GREATEST HITS (1966 TO 1992) to instead substitute inferior live recordings for the originals. Songs Sung Hot!!!!
WOW, I only knew of Neil thanks to my parents, but I never really listened. Was to young to appreciate the musical talent this man had(has). My wife asked for this CD for our Anniversary. Now I'm a ND fan for life! Great CD timeless music.

Awesome
It's a complete snapshot of Neil's career. And it rocks, soothes, entertains, refreshes, enhances, educates but most of all, it completes. This collection creates a near up to date and picture perfect grouping of Neil's career. Every top hit song, every staple, every song popularized by another band as sung by Neil sprinkled with demos and alternate takes of songs that you are familiar with make for the 'must own' definitive set called "In My LifeTime". Included is a booklet with personal description of every song that brings to life and gives clearer meaning to the composition. "In My Lifetime" is NOT to be missed.

Pure Diamond
This collection is a must for the Neil Diamond fan. With the domestic touches of the home tapes, from the early songs to the later, it's brilliant.

Classic Sounds
The first CD is very primitive Neil Diamond but the improvement shows in each sound. Neil Diamond's mellow voice only gets better with age. This set is certainly better than spending concert money...I can listen to it over & over, no crowds, no uncomfortable seats.
