| Poor sound quality on one song
The "Passion Flower" song is badly distorted with wow and flutter. This cannot be attributed to a poor original, since the other instrumentals were cut during the same two recording sessions and are of fine quality.

| studio absence makes for uneven results
It's no secret that Clooney was nowhere near the Ellington Orchestra when they recorded their tracks. As a result, there is no immediacy or excitement in her singing.
