||Feral and Rabid|
For fanatics of screeching hard electric guitar rock, "Cat Scratch Fever" is the Nugent album to own. Along with his excellent 1975 eponymous solo debut, "CSF" defined Ted's musical statement. Powerful numbers such as the title track and "Wang Dang Sweet Poontang" provided great alternatives to disco. Raw and riveting; a headbanger classic.

This one is without a doubt the most shocking & most thrilling of all of Ted's albums!!! A Must Have!!

I love this album, but I think few would argue that Derek St. Holmes absolutely MAKES the album with his superb vocals. Teddy's guitar gets your attention, but Derek's voice keeps you there. "A Thousand Knives" is one of the best songs ever put to vinly.

||Yet Another Great Ted Nugent Album|
CAT SCRATCH FEVER is yet another great Ted Nugent album. Derek St. Holmes was back in the fold full-time for this one, and splits lead vocals evenly with Nugent himself. This album proves once again that sobriety enhances creativity.

this is a very good 70's album with really good riffs. it has the classic "cat scratch fever". there are also very underrated classics such as "wang dang sweet poontang", "death by misadventure", ":sweet sally", and the instrumental "homebound". the only thing is that some of it is forgettable and has that generic sex lyric thing going on... i recommand it
