Young Ted This "Greatest Hits" CD showcases Young Ted's early works, a relatively complete cross-section of his work with the Amboy Dukes. The guitar work is as good as any on his later solo stuff. "You Talk Sunshine, I Breathe Fire" "Scottish Tea" "Migration" "Prodigal Man" and of course "Journey to the Center of the Mind" and "Baby, Please Don't Go" are the stand-out tracks, but tidbits like "Down on Philip's Escalator" and "Why is a Carrot More Orange Than an Orange" have that special '60s Nugent "sauce." One track not on here that should have been included is "The Inexhaustible Quest for the Cosmic Cabbage." Check out the lead from "Third Stone From the Sun" in "Baby, Please Don't Go." Timeless!!
