this album is just when dokken were at their best. i love georges guitar sound. real crunchy and he plays great.

| Melodic Rock at its best.
For me, 'Back for the Attack,' was the defining moment in melodic hard rock. The combination of Don Dokken's vocals interlaced with George Lynch's guitar histrionics combined with the pounding rhythm section of Jeff Pilson and the thunderous Mick Brown created an album few people can forget.

| Dokken transcends hair metal
These guys always were several rungs above the competition on the hair band ladder. Excellent, excellent guitar work from George Lynch, as usual.
