ANITA BURST ON THE SCENE WITH THIS RELEASE AND NEVER LOOKED BACK. SHE HAD MY ATTENTION FROM THE FIRST LINE OF ANGEL!!!! I AM ANTICIPATING HER RETURN AS I ANTICIPATED SADES A FEW YEARS AGO. ANITA---WHERE ARE YOU????? THIS ALBUM WAS THE BEST!!!!

Anita has one of the best female voices of all time.Songstress rates right up there with Rapture.The songs penetrate your mind,body, soul and spirit.Getting this project completes my Anita Baker collection. P.S Anita,please come back!

| Just Warming Up....
Anita Baker was merely warming up to dazzle the world with this first solo CD. Even though this CD isn't her best it gave us what I consider to be her best song ever: "Angel". In my opinion she has never recorded a sweeter sounding song and that is some claim considering her next album (Rapture) put her on the map forever with great aplomb. I mean this is Anita Bake I'm talking about here. On that day in 1983 the world gained a truly priceless treasure. Anita is a textbook example of quality over quantity. Typcially she does more on a album with 8-10 songs than most do with a 15 songs and a gaggle of intro/outros. All nonsense when you see how its really done, by Anita.

| Excellent fourplay music....
This is a very special album to me for many reasons! First of all, during the debut of this album, I became familiar with Anita's pure singing talent and range. But as time went on, I realized that the lyrics to the songs added this deeply sensuous and mello vibe to any intimate moment my lady of the moment. In fact, when I listen to these tracks, I am reminded of a special lady from my past; Uhm, uhm, umh...what a quite storm that we shared together. Many of our evenings involved, champaign, hot food, candlelight, warm bath water, and Anita Bakers sweet love songs like: "Angel". Signed, Michael Anthony (The Cancerian)
