| super cd, of a underrated band
This is a superb album, of a fantastic, but not always consistent band. This album is full of soul and rock.

| My favorite albumof all time!
Greg Dulli is a genious songwriter. A very dark album, thus brillant. Hardcore raw grungy guitars, great lyrics, orginal sound. Every song on this album just runs into the next, you dont even really know what the names of a lot of them are you just listen over & over again.

While I would rank Gentlemen as one of the top albums of 1993, I have never considered it one of the Whigs' best.

| Gentlemen is a classic
I have more than 300 LPs and 300 CDs. This is in the top 10. Every track is excellent. They weave a route through the album, building to a crescendo then coming back down at the end.
