More than anything, Edmunds channels the carefree teenage spirit of rockabilly and vintage country, whether on songs that deal with leaving the work week behind ("Here Comes The Weekend," "Almost Saturday Night") or on tracks about fast cars by way of George Jones ("The Race Is On," with the Stray Cats).
