Dublin's brother-sisters act The Corrs have set themselves apart from the dozens of other Irish pop groups with their innovative blend of pop music and traditional Celtic sound. With songs as beautiful as the pale skinned, dark-haired band members, The Corrs have attracted a large and dedicated U.K. following and are poised to break onto the United States scene. On this release, the Corrs perform at London's infamous Royal Albert Hall, where they go through hits including "So Young" and "What Can I Do." In addition, special guest Mick Fleetwood joins them for a cover of Fleetwood Mac's classic hit, "Dreams." Corrs at their best! What can I say...Excellent musicians and nice to look at too! This is a really great concert that is filmed well. They don't seem to miss a note. I could give or take Mick Fleetwood drumming on the couple songs, but the Corrs give a wonderful performance. If you haven't seen them live, this is a great concert to own on DVD! It's worth watching over and over. Submitted by a reviewer (Bear, Delaware) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Great live performance! Very nice cd. Check out the wild drum sessions of Mick Fleetwood. Too bad the DVD case is not top quality. Submitted by Raj (Rotterdam, Netherlands) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
A very, very good DVD concert This is a very, very good concert and a very, very good DVD. The video and audio quality is super. The songs selection is appropriate. The appearance of Mick Fleetwood was a nice touch. I recommend this concert to anyone that likes good music performed by good artists. Submitted by a reviewer (Florida, PR) Was This Review Helpful? The Corrs - Live at the Royal Albert Hall If you like the Corrs, you'll be quite happy with this live concert footage. The camera work is nicely paced...not herky-jerky distracting. The material is of an earlier vintage since the video is almost 3 years old. Still, it's always a treat to see the band do their hits. An extra bonus is the addition of Mick Fleetwood for a few songs. He sits in on "Dreams" doing double drums with Caroline. Then later he does "Toss The Feathers" (a bit of a drum solo). He seems to be enjoying himself and gives Caroline a chance to sit down on the stage level with her siblings for a bit. Sound quality is as good as it gets when "live". Solid Thumbs Up. Corrs, The - Live At The Royal Albert Hall review
$6.39 This audio document of The Corrs' Dublin homecoming concert has pretty much everything fans of Irish pop could wish for, including an appearance from Bono in his earthly incarnation, fresh from an audience with President George W. Bush. It's to the band's credit that the charismatic singer fails to steal the show, despite creditable efforts via an anthemized version of Ryan Adams' beautifully downtempo "When the Stars Go Blue," and a great, leering rendition of Lee Hazlewood and ...

$22.75 Very few Led Zeppelin performances were caught on camera during the band's life-span, but the footage that has been preserved for posterity is collected on this release. With a running time of over five-and-a-half hours, this is the definitive word on Zep's global stage-straddling performances. The footage is taken from London's Royal ...

"Hole In The World" was nominated for the 2004 Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal.
This 1994 greatest hits package (released in anticipation of the band's wildly successful reunion tour and album) supplants THEIR GREATEST HITS 1971-1975. It adds seven songs, but unfortunately deletes "Already Gone," one of their best rockers.
What's most interesting about THE VERY BEST OF THE EAGLES - apart from the presence of obviously classic songs like "Take It Easy" and "Hotel California" - is that it demonstrates that the band's esthetic was fully formed from day one. Despite the fact that the songs here span nearly a decade, listening to them back to back you could almost believe they were the product of one marathon recording session.
The Eagles' founders Don Henley and Glenn Frey were forthright in their desire to bring then-emerging country rock to new heights of commercial success. Formed in Los Angeles in 1971, they learned from their observations of the scene around them, and subsequently took their music to the top of the charts. They stayed there ...
