Led Zeppelin III album Product Description
Led Zeppelin III album by Led Zeppelin was released Aug 16, 1994 on the Atlantic (Label) label. LED ZEPPELIN III is the sound of rock's brash enfants terrible beginning to mature. Led Zeppelin III songs While the take-no-prisoners blues-rock of the first two albums is still prominent in the band's tool box, other implements are beginning to appear. Led Zeppelin III album The delicate acoustic whispers that would run through much of ZEPPELIN IV have their folk/blues antecedents here (the lambent "That's the Way," the earthy "Bron-Y-Aur Stomp"), the results of the band's creative encampment in a woodland dwelling. At the same time, the heavier tracks are unprecedented in their ferocious swagger. Robert Plant's bone-chilling battle cry and the band's savage riffing on "The Immigrant Song" do full justice to the song's Viking imagery, and it's easy to believe that the "hammer of the gods" Plant sings about is being swung straight in your direction. Atlantic Records remastered reissue of 1970 album featuring 10 tracks. Audio Mixers: Eddie Kramer; Andy Johns. Audio Remasterers: Jimmy Page; George Marino. Liner Note Author: Kaz Akaiwa. ...See Full Description

| Spectacularly Good The best selling successive string of albums in history are Led Zeppelin's first six masterpiece albums. The lowest selling of these six great albums is LZ-III, having sold 6-million copies(tremendous for most artists but mediocre sales for Zeppelin). Initially confusing or flying over the heads of most fans, this brilliant album has steadily gained in stature with the passage of time. All of Zep's music has aged exceptionally well, but none better than this album. This is the one that shocks and converts more doubters than any other. If you are not familiar with this entire album then you don't really understand the variety and depth of Zeppelin's music. It's probably my favorite album of all time, bar none. I recommend it highly, and promise you will not be disappointed. By bobby.mick (Shreveport, La.) |
