The material on the BBC SESSIONS is drawn from the band's performances for the British Broadcasting Corporation in 1969 and 1971. GREAT LIVE ZEPPELIN - THEIR BEST
THEIR BEST LIVE CD , ESPECIALLY THE 1969 CONCERT CUTS. THE 4-71 SHOW ISN'T BAD , BUT THE BAND WAS FORMULAIC BY THEN AND THE "IMPROV" WAS PREDICTABLE AND BORING. THEIR GREATEST IMPACT CAME FROM PLAYING 4 MINUTE HARD ROCK SONGS OF AWESOME POWER DUE TO BONHAM'S THUNDERING DRUMS AND PAGE'S ON-THE-EDGE GUITAR. NO HARD ROCK COLLECTION SHOULD BE WITHOUT THIS. GIDDIT!!

Zeppelin's Best
I've owned every Zeppelin album for a long time, and "How The West Was Won" was an excellent addition to my collection, but an even better addition was this set. If you were a fan before, you'll fall in love with Led Zeppelin all over again as some of their best work is captured here in several unmatchable performances. Page's guitar work doesn't diplay his true phenomenal talent better on any other disc. This is an absolute must for any fan.

Great Live album
This is really good if you want to hear Led Zeppelin live. Their only other live albums are How the West Was Won and The Song Remains the Same.

WOW!!!
The earliest Led Zeppelin at the BBC. This stuff is amazing. The frit disc from 1969 and the other from 1971. Zeppelin at the BBc captures a great band on the brink of rock god status. This is a must have along with How thw West Was Won.
