East, Leland Sklar, Cornelius Mims, John Giblin, Freddie Washington (bass); Sheila E. (percussion); Peter Gabriel, Sting, Marva King (background vocals). In the early '80s, Collins took a break from the helm of Genesis to inaugurate a solo career that abandoned his group's art-rock agenda for a mainstream pop approach. | The Hits + This is a fine collection and deserves a 5 star rating, but would have been even better with the following: Long, Long Way To Go, Don't Lose My Number, Inside Out. I am sure there is even more unsung hits, that should have been included. We will have to wait for a more expanded hits collection. By gtsiebert (Palm Springs, CA, USA) |

| Phil Collins This CD is so moving and has wonderful songs that you can relax to. Nice songs to dance and some to think about life. By a reviewer (Beeville, TX, USA) |
| Hits (1998) Some of the songs are boring and cheesy and they almost all have that 80's sound with the over- exaggerated backround sounds and drumbeats. Its kind of boring and it all sounds similar but some of it is good. By keithsilvers (Wausau, WI, USA) |
