Fighting the World album for sale Product Description
Fighting the World album for sale by Manowar was released Jul 07, 1987 on the Atlantic (Label) label. For four albums, Manowar blazed a self-appointed crusade for "True Metal," devoid of image or any commercial leanings, only to sign with a major label and sell out immediately. Practice what you preach, indeed. The songs on 1987's Fighting the World are actually a slight improvement over the band's previous offering Sign of the Hammer, but they are betrayed by the excessively clean production job herein. ...See Full Description

A Little Different I'm a Manowar fan, but I don't know too much of their material. From the stuff I've heard, this one sounds a little more... radio friendly at the beginning, but those are the songs I like the best. By MNDudicles (Minnesota, USA)
not real manowar this is the worst among the first 4-5 albums of Manowar. The first 3 tracks are too radiophonic, this album has been saved by some tracks such as Defender or Black wind... The second part is much better than the first, but I must give only 2 stars because we want more from this band. By Daniele (Venice, Italy)
Just BAD! Manowar fans from the first hour will agree, this is not very good! It isn't the classic Manowar sound and energy we are use to! This is over produced MTV oriented crap. People who write that Hail to England And Sign of Hammer are weak albums don't really know or understand Manowar. By rfleurant55 (Montreal, Canada)
NATHING TO SAY, PURE HEAVY METAL LONG LIVE MANOWAR, GOD AND SATAN BLESS YOU. By bolsoheavy (Montevideo, Uruguay)
| Fire & Steel - Hail To Manowar! Surely there are few bands out there who have consistantly issued such volumes of outstanding quality as Manowar have. From the opening chords, it is obvious you are listening to a superior collection of Metal Anthems and it doesn't let up. From the raised-fist anthem "Blow Your Speakers", to the intense emotion of "Carry On" to the epic "Black Wind, Fire And Steel" this is an epic voyage through all that is good about the music I love, Heavy Metal.
