| Alice at his best.
I use to have this "CD" on vinyl when I was in high school. This was a "story" album that Alice created supposedly after a stay at an asylum. Keeping this in mind when listening to the lyrics brings a tear to my eye. The depth of his talent as a lyricist and his vocal range are as evident here as they were on his "Billion Dollar Babies" album, my favorite by Alice Cooper.

The 2nd album in Phase II of Alice's long & illustrious career, this is among his career Top 10. This album featured the 1st of his easy listening radio friendly ballads I Never Cry. That said it's also not his hardest rocking album but what makes this one special is the humor. Alices lyrics are wicked dark & cynical but bouyed by depraved sense of humor which keeps everything from getting too serious. Alice is the master Horror storyteller of Rock. It's a trip down to Hell with Alice as tour guide. Fun for all. Take the ride!
