Covenant started to bring Morbid Angel up out of the underground, as MTV gave them wider exposure on its late Headbanger's Ball. Guitarist Trey Azagthoth plays complicated, heavily detuned riffs, some with a lightning-fast picking style and others in a slower groove. Drummer Pete Sandoval is one of the genre's fastest, and his jackhammer style helps complete Morbid Angel's core sound. This is one of Morbid Angels finest albums, Heavy drums, extreme melodic crying riffs from the master Trey Azagthoth, deep gutsy vocals ! A must !

This album along with Formulas Fatal to the Flesh are must haves for any DM cd collection. This album is complex and melodic at the same time. Quality death metal art.

one of the best death metal cd's ever david vincent and trey are in top form so glad to see david vincent back with morbid angel now we can get great classics like this one once again

When "Covenant" was realesed it was highly rated it is great but just not as fast as "Alters of madness" this site has reasonable prices so get it here
