(4 Customer Reviews)
Though they're not nearly as well-known as their Utah-based brethren, the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir gives those Mormons a run for their money with their first holiday-themed recording. This is a powerfully orchestrated set of new and traditional Christmas tunes, with the choir's impeccably arranged, harmonized vocals backed by a full orchestra. The end result is an at times moving, inspirational Christmas album that will probably appeal most strongly to the devoutly religious. ~ Bret Love

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST This Christmas CD by Brooklyn Tabernacle is by far the very best for the celebration of OUR LORD AND SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST'S Birthday. "Have A Very Merry Christmas", and "We Shall Call His Name JESUS", and "Happy Birthday JESUS", put the meaning of the season back in my home. Thank You Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir for singing the songs that have "TRUE" meaning. Submitted by ladyem2 (Pulaski, TN, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

| | Donald Lawrence I Speak Life CD (2004)
Christmas At The Brooklyn Tabernacle
$8.99 Donald Lawrence opens I SPEAK LIFE, his first record without the Tri-City Singers, with "Healed," a song where he delivers, in the most welcoming and relaxed tone, a universal sermon of finding recovery in a return to salvation. In the middle of the song, Lawrence unguardedly remarks "I like this part." It's that sense of openness that permeates the album, embodying the joy that makes Lawrence's gospel so markedly appealing.

Christmas At The Brooklyn Tabernacle
$15.89 Recently named the "Top (Unsigned) Female Singer" in the Atlanta/Metro area by the readers of www.atlantacountrymusic.com, LeeSa Biddy is making quite a name for herself in the country music industry. "Singing has always been my passion. For as far back as I can remember, there has always been music in my life." LeeSa attributes her love of music to her father who played in several bands throughout her childhood years, and her mother known for always having music playing on the family stereo. It wasn't until the age of 19 that LeeSa discovered just how much of an influence the music had on her. She auditioned for her first band 'Making Trax' and says "that was it for me, I was hooked!" Unfortunately the band broke up when their lead guitarist was killed in an automobile accident. It was during that same time period that LeeSa began her experience with Star Search. "I'll never forget that phone call!", making reference to the phone call she received inviting her to Hollywood. "I wasn't able to be in town for the open auditions, as I was recording in Nashville. So I mailed a video audition in and didn't hear anything for nearly a year. I honestly had forgotten all about it. You can imagine my surprise when I got the call!" She describes the experience as one of the highlights of her career, tying a five-time champion with an original song!Since Star Search, LeeSa has gone on to open for many national acts, performing for festivals as large as 200,000 plus! Touring the Gulf Coast area for a period of 8 years with her band, LeeSa Biddy's lil' Biddy Band, she has opened for Tracy Lawrence, Joe Diffie, Mark Chesnutt, T. Graham Brown, The Bellamy Brothers, and many others and bacame well established as a crowd favorite.LeeSa is now the lead female singer for the band 151 at Cowboys Atlanta ...
