 Dwight is the greatest!!
I never get tired of listening to this fabulous album. The talent this man possesses is absolutely mind boggling. Every song, from 'If there was a way' to 'Two Doors Down', is so crisp clear and simply hypnotizing. This is definitely one of my very favorite albums.

 truly great
This CD is one of the best traditional country CD's I have ever heard. It truly is great music and I'm surprised that it is not more widely acknowledged as one of the great country releases. I listen to this CD again and again and love it each time. Yoakam is a phenomenal songwriter with a distinctive voice - perfect for these songs. A real pleasure.

 We need more like this one!!!
This is the best set of recordings by Mr.Yoakam I've heard. I thought the acapella version of Guitars, Cadillacs was exceptional.

 An acoustical feat of genius!
For those who aren't necessarily country finactics, I think that this will fit the bill. The simplicity of this disc alone is worth putting in your collection. I hope that Mr. Yoakam does another acoustic disc like this one. Just him singing and his guitar is proof that he's a talented performer. It's a CD that when you begin playing it, you wish that it didn't end.

 Just a man and his guitar
Dwight is the Man. I love the solitude of this CD. I wish I could have sat in the studio while he layed these tracks down. This CD is such a true musical gift to the world. When the smoke clears and all is said and done Dwight will be rated with Hank Sr and Haggard as one of the greatest American songwriters.
