| Best ever!
Let me put this in perspective as to how good "Making Movies" is. In 1985, I owned about 1000 assorted Lp's, cassettes and 8-tracks.

Best album ever by DS. Best playing ever by MK, Pick Withers and John Isley [the ending to Tunnel Of Love is simply breath taking].

| Let's not mince words...this is essential for any collection
For once an album that accomplished the intended ambition. The wide screen cinematic theme was captured in sound with it's big roomy production, and detailed lyrical themes that read like movie scripts detailing keen-eyed observational character narrative.

This Cd is probably the best Dire Straits CD ever released. The songs and the music is from the best period of Dire Straits period.
