Rolling Stone (4/29/93, p.63) - 3.5 Stars - Good Plus - "...[a] notable debut....Moore explores the sweet entanglements of contemporary love with a supple soprano that floats over and into songs..." Chante Moore Precious Songs Precious Music Review Average Rating: (5 out of 5 stars) Great!!! What a great CD from someone I admittedly didn't care much for back in 1992. Boy was I wrong! Tracks 4,5 and 10 are the best. Love this woman!!! Submitted by marcusj_j (Aurora IL) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
One Super Album What a debut album/c.d. WOW! Chanté at her level best. Check out also the muscians on this session who helped her pull it off. Names you will recognize as some of the very best in the business.
Sad that it was never a monster. Go figure. A great lady and I wish her the very best.
Folks, just leave this one in your cd carousel. You'll never tire of it. And, that's saying something.

One to cherish From the old school. She is one of my most favorite artists. I love all of her old music. Old school lovin, candlelight and you, precious, loves taken over, and on and on. I have been trying to find it to listen to it, but the only thing listed under google is the lyrics. That's ok, I am going to purchase a copy to have and hold. Most beautiful songstress. She is the cream of the crop! Submitted by erioutl4 (Baltimore, MD, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Love songs the way they should be! Back in 1992,I heard Chante's first single"Loves taken over" and figured if this one song is this good, the rest had to be same.I was wrong. They were even better than I could have possibly imagined! This is cd is fine example that r&b music is about the romance and leaving something to the imagination. played it too much This album is my all time favorite. It's very relaxing and I played it all the time. In fact I played it soon often, someone took it away. But I will always love it. Submitted by hillia (Pontotoc,Ms) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

$14.79 Terry Figuera Kinsale was born in San Fernando, Trinidad--the "second city" of the southernmost island in the Caribbean chain. His love for Trinidad’s national instrument, the steel drum or pan, was born in the 1950s--only five or ten years after the pan itself had been invented. Like many of his countrymen, the pan became music, religion, politics, and a fire in the soul, all rolled into one instrument. Since then, Terry's reputation has grown internationally. In 1986 he traveled to London with the prizewinning steel orchestra Skiffle Bunch, where he performed at the Commonwealth Institute Carnival Music Village alongside Calypso superstar King David Rudder. In the years that followed he has returned frequently to England, Wales ...
