childhood memories
I remember this tape from my childhood. My Dad woud play it on Saturday's with his friends, one in particular, Mike St. Croix. The song that was a favorite was My Boy Willie. I love this Cd, so glad I found it! Laurie

Great fun these guys are having
I bought this disc for the song The Unicorn. I listened to the whole thing and liked it alot. It reminds me of an Oktoberfest celebration with a little drinking involved.

Childhood Memories with me Dad
I remember many of weekends listening to the Irish Rovers with my Dad as a young boy my favorite was the Unicorn song, it taught me all the animals. It was a tie to my irish roots that made me proud to be an irishmen.

Best of - as of 1971 that is.
This is a great collection of their first few years, but if you're looking for the best music of their career, make sure you get something more recent. A better bet would be 40 Years A Rovin(2005), a greatest hits double CD with 28 songs, or Gracehill Fair(2011), Home in Ireland (2011), or the most recent, Drunken Sailor (2012).
