Ravi Shankar, Master of the Innermost Depths of Soul Harmo The superb performance by Ravi Shankar and the London Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Andre Previn, referred as the East meets the West, is unique of the kind, bringing together the complex India musical struture and the challanging Sitar instrument, and the fine art of Ocidental music arrangement and performance. The Concert selection is extraordinary enabling two different musical concepts to match flawlessly. This masterpiece should be an invaluable acquistion to anybody willing to enhance his/her recording collection and appreciates art as a supreme expression of mankind. After many years searching this especific Concert in CD version, once I had it in polyethylene disc, I was extremely pleased to find it available at CD Universe, which offers an unmatched recording selection, including most of Ravi Shankar performances around the world. RAVI SHANKAR - INSIDE THE KREMLIN is another remarkable record of this Master of the innermost depths of the human soul feeling. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
