Once Bitten album for sale Product Description
Once Bitten album for sale by Great White was released Oct 20, 1998 on the EMI Special Products label. With their third album, Once Bitten... , Great White finally perfected their blend of bluesy Aerosmith grind and Van Halen hard rock flamboyance. It all comes to a head on "Rock Me," a minor hit single that brought them to a broader audience, but there are a couple of other moments -- such as the sleazy "Lady Red Light" or "Save Your Love" -- illustrating that Great White is more than a one-hit wonder. Once Bitten CD music contains a single disc with 9 songs. ...See Full Description

| Excellent Album I wasn't exposed to GW much growing up in the 80s but recently purchased this gem, along with "Twice Shy". If you like melodic bluesy rock music, you can't lose with this gem. By TodayWasAGoodDay (RH, SC) |
| Great album First off, Rock Me is just awesome, easily the best song Great White ever did. It captures a sort of forbidden love perfectly, with Jack Russell's vocals ranging from whispered to howled, smooth and bluesy guitar lines, minimal rhythms, a big hook, and an excellent solo courtesy of Mark Kendall. Tesla Mechanical Resonance CD (1986) Top Seller
Once Bitten CD music Tesla was a bit of an anomaly on the '80s scene. While making concessions to the Sunset Strip mentality of the era (song titles littered with slang, tracks laced with thinly veiled euphemisms), the music itself holds a great deal more in common with rough-and-tumble hard rock than with watered-down glam. The record's greatest assets are vocalist Jeff Keith, who combines an authentic blues delivery with competent melodic range, and guitarist Keith Hannon, who supplies ample electricity amid the four-measure riffing without devolving into showy, soulless solos. There are a handful of slowed-down offerings on RESONANCE, although, unlike pandering power ballads of the era, songs like ...

Tesla Great Radio Controversy CD (1989)
Once Bitten songs For their second Geffen Records studio release, Tesla unleashed an excellent set of bluesy metal and straight-rockin' '80s arena anthems on THE GREAT RADIO CONTROVERSY. With a title and theme derived from conflicting claims of who invented the radio made by Italian scientist and the band's namesake Guglielmo Marconi, the album strays a bit from the aqua-netted template of the glam metal era. Opting for a T-shirt and jeans image, front man Jeff Keith's sandpaper-coated vocals embody the band's emotionally energetic and slightly rootsy style. Guitarists Frank Hannon and Tommy Skeoch perfectly compliment each other's standout harmonic leads, which play nicely over Brian Wheat's solid low ...

Cinderella Heartbreak Station CD (1990) Top Seller
Once Bitten CD music After successful albums that effectively followed contemporary hard rock trends, Cinderella reached back into the Stones and Aerosmith songbooks and created a sneering, raunchy hard rock album that was artistically their finest moment, even if it didn't reach the same commercial heights as its predecessors. But the sales figures don't matter (it only sold a million copies); Heartbreak Station shows that Cinderella has more genuine rock & roll grit than most of the metal bands of the late '80s. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
